Doug Manning has over 20 years of experience as a law officer, private investigator and now senior criminal defense investigator for the clients of Berg and Associates. As a former City of Monterey Police Sergeant and former Deputy with the Shasta County Sheriff's Department, Mr. Manning has a broad range of crime scene investigative experience. Mr. Manning has served the clients of Berg and Associates for over 8 years. His cases range from homicide, sexual assault, crimes against children, all types of abuse and driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs to simple and complex drug investigations, background investigations and worker compensation fraud investigations.

Mr. Manning has testified in hundreds of cases as a professional investigator and has been a key resource for many of Berg and Associates high profile and defense cases.

Doug has been involved in other public service programs as a law enforcement educator. In addition he has been involved with boating safety and contract services to the United States Forest Services.
